Admissions
Admissions Associates are responsible for operating the parking lot toll booths, ticket and season pass sales booth, front gate / park entrance, guest services and cabana & tube rentals. This is primarily a cash handling position with a high amount of guest interaction. Admissions Associates must be at least 15 years old.
Food Service & Retail
Associates in the Food Service & Retail Department hold several different positions such as cashier, busser, night cleaner, cook, catering and cabana services, warehouse, and kiosk. Duties can range from accepting payment as a cashier to cleaning tables and condiment stands to preparing and cooking for a large catered group event. Age requirements vary depending on position some positions require associates at least 15 years old while other positions require associates at least 18 years old. Some positions may require associates to maintain hand/personal hygiene as directed by supervisory staff and guidelines of Maricopa County Health Department
Security
Park security is responsible for maintaining a safe environment for guests and associates. Enforcement of park policies is the primary responsibility. This is accomplished by checking guest and associates bags at the respective park entrances, manning the park’s primary communication center, reunited lost children with their parents among, responding to different situations that arise among other various duties. Security staff must be at least 18 years old.
Lifeguard
Lifeguards are responsible for operating the park’s attractions in a safe, efficient and courteous manner. This is accomplished by monitoring the pools and other bodies of water as well as operating the slides and attractions. They are responsible for enforcing ride requirements such as height requirement, proper riding position, etc. Lifeguards must be at least 16 years old and have a current Ellis Special Facilities Certification/License.
Call Center
The call center staff is responsible for answering inbound calls and answering guest questions. A thorough knowledge of the park’s policies, services, operating hours, ticket prices, attraction information and other general park information are required. Must be able to communicate effectively while working in a professional office environment. Other clerical duties may also be assigned as needed. Must be at least 16 years old.
Park Services
Park Services staff maintains the parks appearance and cleanliness. This position is responsible for cleaning pathways throughout the park as well as restrooms and removing waste can liners as they become full. The park services staff frequently comes in direct contact with the park’s guests and must be able to provide excellent guest service. Knowledge of the park layout and services is required. Must be at least 15 years old.

Food Service & Retail Supervisor
Food Service Supervisors monitor the operation of the Food Service & Retail Department. Supervisors are responsible for training new associates, maintaining various logs and records and handling guest related issues as they arise. Other various duties are included in this position as directed. Food Service Supervisors must be at least 18 years old.
Admissions Supervisor
Admissions Supervisors monitor the operation of the Admissions Department. The Admissions Supervisor is also responsible for training new associates, maintaining various daily logs and records, and handling guest related issues as they arise. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Must be at least 16 years old.
