Dive 'n' Movies

Turn a day out at Wet 'n' Wild to a night out at the movies!  Catch great movies while floating under the stars at Wet 'n' Wild's wave pool - Monsoon Bay or simply lounge around on a deck chair.  Dive 'n' Movies provides the most amazing outdoor cinema experience with awsome sound.  The movie will begin at sundown each Friday night June 11th through July 30th. Dive 'n' Movies are free with park admission. The majority of the Park's other attractions continue to operate during Dive 'n' Movies until the Park closes at 10:00pm

June 11:      WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

Where the wild things are

This adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic children's story follows Max, a disobedient little boy who is sent to bed without his supper. Max then creates an imaginary forest world populated by the wild things, exotic monsters and ferocious creatures who embrace Max as their ruler.

June 18:      HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE 

Harry Potter

In Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts he finds a Potions book, which used to belong to the very mysterious Half-Blood Prince. Harry finds that the Half-Blood Prince's ancient scribbles written in the margins give him great advice on how to improve on his Potions work, and also teach him a few helpful spells along the way. Harry will have to put these spells to good use in the wake of Lord Voldemort’s return.

June 25:      CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 

Cloudy With Chance of Meatballs

Based on the children’s book, this animated adventure follows a scientist who tries to solve world hunger only to see things go awry as food falls from the sky in abundance. This is the most delicious event since macaroni met cheese.

July 2:      STAR TREK - THE FUTURE BEGINS

Star Trek

In this prequel, we meet James T. Kirk, Spock, Bones, Uhura and the rest of group who will become the famed crew of the Enterprise. This film follows the early days and struggles of the team on their first mission out of Starfleet Academy.

July 9:      THE LITTLE RASCALS

The Little Rascals


Spanky, Alfalfa, and the rest of Our Gang are back for more zany capers in this decidedly ‘90s interpretation of the hilarious television classic. Director Penelope Spheeris delivers another hit from TV land as eight charming youngsters including Buckwheat and the vocally challenged Froggie light up the screen in this hysterical outing of some very mischievous rascals.

July 16:      TRANSFORMERS - REVENGE OF THE FALLEN

Transformers


The battle for Earth has ended, but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons and has decided to return to Earth with force. Megatron is back and seeking revenge against the Autobots who have some reinforcements of their own in this fueled up sequel.

July 23:      SURF'S UP 

Surfs UP


This stylish CGI animated comedy is based on the groundbreaking revelation that surfing was actually invented by penguins. A documentary crew takes the audiences behind the scenes at the annual Penguin World Surfing Championship and talks to the newest star Cody Maverick. He starts off as a cocky rookie but soon discovers that a true winner isnÕt always the one who comes in first.

July 30:      THE BLIND SIDE 

The Blind Side

This film is the remarkable true story of Michael Oher, a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home. Michael was taken in by a wealthy white family who helped him fulfill his potential as a person and as an athlete. He worked hard on the field and in the classroom and became an All-American in college and was picked in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft, changing his life and the lives of the loving family who were there to watch him succeed.
